Terms and Conditions

Please read these carefully as they will be applied to your course booking, fees, registration, refunds and venues

No refund of fees or transfer onto a later course can be offered if you fail to attend on the day of your course for any reason (hospital/doctor/dentist appointment, domestic crisis, travel delays, cold/flu, change of mind, lack of child care etc.). Fees are not refundable or transferable in this instance. To ensure fairness, these terms apply to everyone, and there are good reasons for them. Unlike many training providers we will run a course, with the overheads that this incurs, even if we have very low student numbers - you may be one of only two students booked which, if you do not attend, it may mean cancelling the course causing loss of time and money to the tutor and other student. In addition our courses are very popular, and it's quite likely that we turned away another student who could have taken your place.In exceptional circumstances of extreme and sudden onset of illness, you must contact the course tutor, prior to the start of the course, by telephone to explain your absence and to follow up in writing to the tutor.  

At the discretion of the tutor, she may be prepared, for an additional fee of £25, to offer you a place on the next available course, which may not be in your area. If you are not able to take up this place, then no refund will be offered. Provisional bookings will be held for 7 days only pending receipt of the Booking Form and payment. If these are not received, then the provisional booking will be cancelled and the place offered to another student. Cancelling or transferring a course will incur the following: Change or cancellation of course after booking: £25 fee, plus additional charges below if change or cancellation is made within 14 days of the course date.

Courses cancelled or transferred up to 48 hours before the course date: 100% of fee.

Courses cancelled or transferred up to 7 days before the course date: 50% of fee  In the event of a genuine reason for cancellation (proof of which may be required) a request for transfer to a later course will be considered at our discretion, but dates and venues cannot be guaranteed.  We rarely have to cancel a course, but if we do we will transfer you onto the next date that's convenient for you at no extra charge. We will always give you at least 48 hours notice of a cancellation (unless exceptional circumstances apply), and if no other date suits you we will issue you with a full refund of all monies paid.The full fee is payable in advance to reserve your place. Your place will not be confirmed until cleared funds have been received as at 14 days before the course date.

Classes will commence promptly at the time stated, irrespective of whether all students are present, and are not delayed for late-comers. Tutors are not responsible for repeating notes or stages missed, and can refuse to admit you at their discretion. Fees are not refundable if the course is interrupted or cancelled through circumstances beyond our control. You will be advised on the Course Joining Instructions of the equipment, clothing and footwear which you should bring with you. These requirements are for the comfort, health and safety of you and your fellow students. Your course tutor reserves the right to refuse to train any student who turns up for a course without the necessary equipment, or whose appearance or clothing which, for any reason whatsoever, are deemed unsuitable or inappropriate. Fees are not transferable or refundable in this instance.

There is NO smoking anywhere on our premises.

Paying for and/or attending a course does not guarantee the awarding of a diploma or certificate. Diplomas are gained by the successful fulfilment of the criteria set out by the course provider and its accrediting bodies, and the awarding of diplomas is at the discretion of the tutor.

If any student behaves improperly on the premises, either before or during an assessment, or damages or removes any equipment belonging to the tutor, they will be asked to leave immediately and no refund of fees will be given.The use of camcorders, mobile phone cameras and audio equipment during a class is not permitted.

All courses, fees and discounts are subject to change without prior notice.

Students unable to understand or speak English will not be permitted to attend courses without the assistance of a suitably qualified interpreter.  The student is responsible for this expense.

These conditions form the main part of the contract between Très Chic and the Student.

Only the Principal shall be authorised to alter or waive any of the aforementioned terms and conditions.

These Terms & Conditions may be changed at any time, the most up to date version will be sent to you with your course joining instructions and these terms will apply even if you have previously been sent another version.

Complaints Policy:

We expect that every learner will have an enjoyable & successful course and learning experience. At the end of your course we offer you the chance to give us feedback on your experience.

We take all opinions very seriously and all your comments positive or negative are welcomed, we understand that as a successful business we need to continue to learn and grow so any feedback is welcomed.
If you are unhappy with your experience on the course, we will look at ways in which to resolve this.  We are happy to offer you the chance to join the same course on another date for a limited amount of time that you need to gain knowledge or experience that you require free of charge.  Your Tutor will personally be available for you post course learning via email and telephone to guide and help.

We do not offer refunds on courses and the alternative date is non-negotiable as you will be joining another course.

RETURNS

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

Additional non-returnable items:

* Gift cards

* Downloadable software products

* Some health and personal care items

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable)

* Book with obvious signs of use

* CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened.

* Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.

* Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable)

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.  If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at %{email %> and send your item to: 50 Windsor Drive, Hertford, HRT, SG14 2HU, United Kingdom.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

Shipping

To return your product, you should mail your product to: 50 Windsor Drive, Hertford, Hertfordshire, SG14 2HU, United Kingdom.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over £75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
